- It depends on how you connect it. The S-Video out of the CD-32 was *very*
- good, much better than composite. Also the SuperGen SX generates some
- S-video output that is outstanding. Not RGB monitor quality, but realize
- the 1084 has something like a .42 dpi, so it isn't the world's greatest
- anyway.

- It also depends on what you are putting out. I have a Retina Z3 with the
- composite/s-video output option. Some stuff is trash (items with small
- text or small horizontal lines) but some....I have sent some pictures
- to my TV via s-video that blow the monitor away! [It helps that I have
- a 31" TV and only a 13" monitor, though. :-)

- Still, a 27" TV with s-video in is only about $350 whereas a 27" monitor
- is closer to $3,000.

- Rip the CD-ROM off of a CD32 and you have almost a perfect settop box.
- (Add fast RAM and you are even closer.)
